Here is the new picture of the piece I am working on.
You may see a larger picture at the bottom of the page.
Get a piece of paper and start keeping track of the symbols.
Don't forget to email me with each symbol you see, where they are, how many.
Then email me
Your name with a list of the symbols.

Symbols Game

Good Morning from Ohio
where it is a little humid and overcast.


Triquetra - Holy Trinity
This piece will have symbols within symbols.
Some will be Celtic, but it is hard to find symbols for certain words,
some words do not have symbol linked to them.

I think I will host a game with this fiber piece!
How many symbols can you find?
You will need to send me and email with your name, and what symbols you are
guessing. Please send to grandmawillcox@zoominternet.net
I will print out email and save to keep track.
I will put together a gift basket for the winner.
So please link this blog to your emails or your blog.
I will post a picture when a new step is done, I will keep a list of symbols as I go
that way I won't forget what they are.
They will be reveled at the end when the piece is done.
There is a clue in this blog.

New Project

Good Morning from Ohio

Today is just a great day, here in Ohio.
The weather here is Cool, sunshine, with a very light breeze.

This is the project I have been working on instead of the Dreamcatcher.
This is for the Fiber Show that is coming up in July at the Peninsula Art Academy's Fiber Show

It is called:
Triquetra or Holy Trinity
It has three parts like the Trinity
And it will have all three's in the design.
I will post as I go along, so bear with me as I try and keep up.

To Much to Do

Sorry everyone!
I have not bloged in so long, Life has gotten in the way.
I have even started new projects without finishing this one first.
I do that alot, but that is how my brain works, it jumps to, too many things and
can't seem to finish the thing I start.
But I am not the only one that does this, other artist totally understand what I mean.
I hope to finish this one day.

Purpose

The purpose for this wall hanging is to show that art quilts ARE quilts.
You can find stained glass patterns on the internet.
This pattern was found at www.glasspatterns.com
You can add anything you want to an art quilt, where with a quilt that
you use for a bed you cannot, you have to be able to wash it.

Dreamcatcher Design

Here is the Design for the Dreamcatcher!!!!!!!!

It is about 4 ft wide by 5 1/2 ft long. Will make sure just how big it is.
It will have two or three parts that are loose from the main body of the quilt.

I am going tomorrow to look for cool things to put in it.
