Grow My Blog

Hi, ya'll and Welcome from Northeast Ohio, I'm RoseMary.  Come in, sit down and make yourself at home. Join in Grow My Blog, and visit blogs all over the world, just click the Grow My Blog on the left.
I started this blog to meet new friends from other places and for my love of Quilting, started off strong and then, my husband brought a consignment shop in June 2011, and have not been keeping up with my first love-QUILTING.  I wear way too many hats, but am the happiest when I am quilting or sewing.

I am working on a t-shirt for my niece Becca, as you can see in the past blog.  I am posting the steps, the hard part for me is finding the time to blog.  I hope you will join my blog family and friends.  I have a give away, I'm not done sewing it together.  I have the top done and here it is.  It will be a Ladybug Pincushion, when done. This post won't let me put the picture where I want it to be

Please leave me a post on your favorite thing you like to collect.  I collect buttons and all types of old sewing items.  Please leave your email so I can contact you, when my husband draws the winning name.  Which will be Feb 1st.
It is cold here tonight, no snow, we had about 22 inches right after Christmas, that has all melted and waiting for the next storm to come and blanket us with some more snow.
I am blessed with a great husband, Rich.  7 Children, 9 Grandchildren, #10 is due the end of July, and 1 great grandson.
Glad you stopped by and hope you will come back. And check out my and hubby's other blog at www.secondtimearoundconsignment@blogspot.com

Happiest when needle meets fabric,
RoseMary

Hi Rosemary. Thanks for visiting my blog. Did I read you had 22 inches of snow after Christmas? I can't even begin to imagine what that's like! And we complain here about three or four!

Hello, it is lovely to meet you on the blog hop. It is such a fun day relaxing and finding new blogs to read. I like to collect pincushions by the way as they don't take up too much space. If you spoke to my husband he would say that I also collect coats. A girl can never have too many!

Hi, Rosemary! It's nice to meet you! Thanks for stopping by my blog to say hi! I love quilting, I have just not had the courage to start my first one! I have the fabric, already cut out, have the binding, even have the batting and the thread. I know the basics but I'm still chicken! I don't want to mess it up! I can't wait to see how Becca's T-shirt comes out! Hope to see you again soon! Kelly xoxo

Love this blog hop. right now I seem to be collecting blogs. the real question is what do i not collect. I have a decent collection of yarn, knick knacks, craft kits, stamps, embroidery thread, and i'm starting on fabric.

Hi, just visiting from the GYB party! You are a busy lady!!! I love pincushions and since they get buried very easily in all my fabric from UFO's, I could always use many more.

Great to met you and stop by when you can!

Stopping by from the GYB party. I feel the same way you do about sewing, except for me it is knitting.

And what a large family you have. How wonderful.

Stop by a visit with me a spell.

I love collecting fabric of course but lovely old hankies that make beautiful baby bonnets I give with the poem for use in their wedding some day.

I'm still enjoying the Grow Your Blog party and have made it to you. YAY! We have similar interests, vintage sewing supplies and equipment, etc. I love hankies, buttons, almost all things vintage in fabrics or needlework. I often "rescue" partially finished needlework (mostly cross-stitch and needlepoint) from the thrift store and complete them...usually giving them as little presents. That's such fun and always a challenge. Look forward to reading more about you!

It's nice to meet you. I look forward to reading more of your blog.
I collect too many things (according to my husband), but I'd say my main ones are owls and books.

Hi Rosemary

It's me again - I forget to tell you what I like to collect!

Well where do I start and how much time have you got!!

I collect lace, mother of pearl buttons (I need more of these so must look for some on Ebay or Etsy), cabinet cards of children and ladies, and my latest thing is fabrics because I'm learning to quilt - they make me do my happy dance!
Thats enough for you to go on with right?!

Hugs
