I can't believe it is March already, and it's the 10th. It has been almost a month since the Tea Luncheon given by the Sew Happy Quilting Guild in Alliance, Ohio. They have one every Second weekend in February, we always have a great time. This year the speaker was Peg Bingham, from Akron, Ohio. She started quilting in 1977, she has developed her own pattern line of pieced Celtic knot designs, you can email her at (firstname.lastname@example.org) for her catalog of designs, tell her you saw her on my blog. She is pursuing her Masters Degree in Clothing and Textiles at the University of Akron, where she is also a teacher. Miss Lilybelle, got to meet Peg for the first time at the luncheon, where she also got to see the raffle quilt that was made by the guild. She was delighted at the baskets that were there for the Chinese auction. Check for some more pictures to the right of the luncheon.
Miss Lilybelle is going to a paper piecing class this coming Sat, check back for updates on that. Next week she is going to California to visit Vivian Capone, (http://www.vivianhelena.com/) another quilt artist and will get to see her studio.
